The Winnie Blues

The Australian Pavilion is excited to welcome The Winnie Blues to the Victoria Stage this week from 10 to 15 January.

The Australian duo made up of Alice Beatty and Cameron Potts, first met in New York City in 2016 and since then have put their unique stamp on the American music scene. Their country and western influence have led to them compiling and creating a collection of songs and stories written from personal and contemporary perspectives.

The Winnie Blues released their debut album in July 2021, 'Half Wide Awake But Dreaming', to international acclaim, including ABC Country’s Album of The Week, and were able to tour extensively across the USA and Australia. The pair now have their sights set on a full 2022 starting with recording their upcoming EP at Blackbird Studios in Nashville, Tennessee.
