International Conference: Water Management and Sustainability: Solutions for Arid Regions

Australia and the United Arab Emirates are coming together to explore water security solutions through co-hosting a major industry conference during Expo 2020 from 23-24 March 2022.

Keeping with the theme of Expo 2020 - Connecting Minds, Creating the Future, the National Water and Energy Centre, United Arab Emirates University and the South Australian Goyder Institute for Water Research and Department for Environment and Water have partnered together to jointly organise a conference, ‘Water Resources Management and Sustainability: Solutions for Arid Regions’, with the objective to explore global water issues and address potential future challenges.

This conference will bring together international experts working in industry, academia, and government to share expertise, form partnerships, and discover solutions in the field of water resource management. With the participation of international water scientists, engineers, experts, academics, policy makers, and industry members, this conference will serve as the largest gathering of water specialists in 2022.
