Pavilion
Experience Australian hospitality: say G’day!
The Australian Pavilion design by Brisbane-based architects bureau^proberts takes inspiration from the cumulus cloud, a feature of the diverse Australian landscape. bureau^proberts describes the cloud’s structural elements as signifying the way in which Australia is home to multiple cultures that unify and enhance our nation. The Australian Pavilion provides a place of gathering and welcome.
Commitment to sustainability
Sustainability features in the Australian Pavilion through the use of Australian-made composite laminated timbers and Australian smart water-saving technologies which enables real-time tracking of water usage throughout the building.
The Australian Pavilion visitor experience
The Australian Pavilion will immerse visitors in the story of Australia’s diversity, taking them on a journey of Australia’s ingenuity and innovation through thousands of years – linking ancient indigenous know-how to modern day discovery and invention.
Global collaboration
Overlooking the forecourt, the Australian Pavilion’s top floor will host a strategic program of events and discussions aimed at strengthening networks, exploring trade and investment opportunities, and fostering collaboration around global challenges.
