The successful candidate will have retail management experience in a busy and competitive retail environment with the ability to effectively roster, manage and motivate a customer service team to deliver highly engaging and professional customer experiences all day, every day. Merchandising experience in an event environment is considered ideal. Proven capability to forecast and respond quickly to trends, manage stock responsibly, implement effective sales techniques, work cooperatively with suppliers and deliver accurate and on-time reports will be key to securing this role. Experience in the UAE, or an understanding of the Middle East region will be advantageous.

Official Store Duty Manager

Key support role to retail operations the Retail Duty Manager provides a unique opportunity for an experienced retail supervisor who is ready to take the next leap into a leadership role. Passionate about retail, the successful candidate will manage the operation of retail spaces in the Pavilion while on shift, including managing the performance of customer service staff, cash handling and ensuring that customers have a positive experience in the retail space. Proven capability in customer service excellence, merchandising / store presentation, stock management, developing comprehensive product knowledge and a good understanding of occupational health and safety practices are a must.

Retail Head Chef

Great opportunity for an experienced Chef to lead a dedicated kitchen team in the production of quality food and service for a fast paced and dynamic food outlet at Expo 2020. An understanding of a busy retail environment is required along with demonstrated capability and success as a chef in all aspects of food preparation and kitchen management, especially in regard to managing COGS & labour. Great opportunity for experienced Cooks to be part of dynamic and fast paced team delivering unique and authentically Australian cuisine to the visitors of Expo 2020 Dubai. Proven capability in understanding all aspects of preparing and cooking to this standard is mandatory. Candidates must have experience working in kitchen environments that ideally specialise in quick service. A thorough understanding of safe kitchen practices and proven capability in leading, instructing and motivating staff along with excellent knowledge of stock management including ordering, storage, rotation and stocktake.
